Logging On
The application can be launched from inside the SAP GUI, a web URL, or from a Fiori tile. You need to run the e4awand_sap_installer_xx.x.x.exe file on your PC as a once-off task to execute that installer’s version. The exe file does not require admin rights so the end-user can run the installer program. If you are using the web URL or the Fiori launcher option you must run the e4awand_sap_installer_xx.x.x_fiori.exe file on your PC as a once-off task.
Log on to the Wands as follows:
- In the SAP GUI execute transaction /n/excel4ap/wands_sap
- Click the Launch Wands button.
- If you are not using Single Sign-On, you will be prompted to enter your username and password.
If you choose to use the web URL launch option, point your browser to your SAP server’s HTTP//<host>:<port>/sap/insightsoftware/wands_sap/launch location. The server host and port information can be found in SAP transaction SMICM. If you choose the Web Launcher option the URL will automatically be requested in the background.
For the Fiori launch option go to your Fiori launchpad to find the Wands Launcher tile. See the installation guide for how to add the tiles to your SAP user id.
